How it works
Which file: the Seller Weekly Orders Report (Seller Hub on the web, Financials, Statements, download) has one row per completed order with the show, the price after coupons, the commission, the processing fee, the taxes on them, the shipping you paid and the cost of goods if you entered it on the listing. Its columns are matched automatically. The Show Report CSV (Shipments page, Show Actions) has item and sale details; its columns are not documented, so pick them in the column list. Any other spreadsheet works too: save it as CSV or start from the template.
Per show: profit = revenue - fees (commission + processing + tax on fees) - shipping you paid - cost of goods + refunds, tips and extra label charges. Rows are grouped by show ID, else by show title; marketplace sales form their own group. A show counts in the month of its first order. If the file has no fee columns, fees are estimated with the rate set in the fee calculator and marked as estimated.

Template columns: date, show, item, sale_price, commission, processing_fee, tax_on_fees, shipping_paid_by_you, cost_of_goods, payout. One row per sold item; leave a fee empty to have it estimated.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I download my Whatnot sales report?
- On whatnot.com (desktop browser): your seller icon, Financials, Statements tab, then Download next to the week. It is a CSV with one row per completed order, refund, tip or extra shipping charge. For a single show, the Shipments page has Export Show Report (CSV) under Show Actions.
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. Your browser reads the file and computes the tables; nothing is sent to a server or to analytics. The totals per show (not buyer names, not item lists) are kept in this browser for the Pro report, and one button clears them.
- Why are some orders missing from the weekly report?
- The weekly report lists completed orders only: an order is complete when its earnings reach your balance (after delivery, or at label creation with Early Payout). Cancelled and failed orders are not in it, so a show can straddle two weekly files.
- Where does cost of goods come from?
- From the optional COGS field on your listings, which the weekly report copies into its Cost of Goods column. If it is empty, the profit is before cost; add your cost in the template or in your spreadsheet before loading it.
- What is the sample data?
- Made-up orders in the weekly report's layout, labelled Sample data on the page, so you can see the tables before loading your own file.
