How it works
Your total sales in a 28-day period, across every category, live and marketplace, set the tier you unlock. The tier sets the rate for the next period; within it each sale pays the rate of its category (the show's category for live sales). Cancelled orders, private shows and local pickup are subtracted; each seller account counts on its own. Every period starts from zero, so the threshold has to be reached inside one window.
The projection is the platform's own rule: sales so far / days passed x 28. Still to sell = next threshold - sales so far; per day = that gap / days left. The saving is the rate difference on sales equal to the threshold, for the next period.

Frequently asked questions
- How are Whatnot commission tiers calculated?
- By your total completed sales across all categories in a 28-day period. In the US: Standard $0 – $14,999, Tier 1 $15,000 – $34,999, up to Tier 6 at $500,000+. The tier you reach sets your rate for the next period.
- I crossed a tier. Why didn't my rate go down?
- The rate is locked for the whole period. Crossing a threshold lowers the rate at the start of the next four-week period, not for the sales already made.
- Do sales carry over to the next period?
- No. Every period starts from zero and the threshold has to be reached inside one window; sales cannot be moved between periods.
- How do I get the 3% rate?
- Rates as low as 3% are custom terms for the highest-volume sellers who work with an account manager; they are not on the public rate card. The lowest public US rate is 3.5% for coins at Tier 6.
- Do promotional 0% sales count toward my tier?
- Yes. Eligible sales made at a promotional rate count toward your total for the period; you do not move tiers during the promotion itself.
