How to track profit per live show
Profit per show = revenue - fees (commission, processing and the tax on them) - the shipping you paid - the cost of the items + refunds, tips and extra label charges. The weekly orders report in Seller Hub has every one of those per order; group the rows by show and add them up. The worked example below uses sample data.
1. Download the right file
On whatnot.com: your seller icon, Financials, the Statements tab, then Download next to the week. The weekly orders report lists completed orders, refunds, tips and extra shipping charges, each as its own row, with the show's ID and title on live sales. The Show Report CSV from the Shipments page is built for packing, with item details but no earnings breakdown.
2. Keep the columns that make profit
- Post Coupon Price: what the item sold for (the commission base).
- Commission Fee, Payment Processing Fee, and the tax on each.
- Shipping Fee: shipping you paid (giveaways, free-shipping offers).
- Cost of Goods: filled only if you typed a COGS on the listing.
- Livestream ID and Livestream Title: the show; blank for marketplace sales.
- Transaction Type and Amount: refunds, tips and label charges.
3. Group by show and add up (sample data)
Sample data: made-up orders in the report's layout, not real sales. The first show had 4 orders for $53.00, paid $6.68 in fees and $4.99 of giveaway shipping, and its items cost $24.50: $16.83 profit, a 31.8% margin.

Frequently asked questions
- Which Whatnot report has the fees per order?
- The Seller Weekly Orders Report (Financials, Statements, download on the web): one row per completed order with the post-coupon price, commission fee, payment processing fee, tax on each, seller-paid shipping, cost of goods and the livestream ID and title.
- Should giveaways count against a show?
- Yes. A giveaway has no price but you pay its shipping, so it comes out of the show's profit; the report shows it as a negative earnings row.
- Why does my weekly report not match my show?
- It lists orders when they complete (earnings reach your balance), not when you sold them, so one show's orders can land in two weekly files. Load both weeks together, or group by show ID as the show-profit tool does.
